Our grant cycle opens on April 1st and closes on June 30th of each year. Questions concerning

All grants must close out before July 15th of each year.

FY 2026-2028 Funding Priorities

The Board of Directors of Coosa Valley RC&D Council has established the following funding priorities to guide our grantmaking over the next three years. These priorities are designed to focus our resources on the areas of greatest opportunity and impact in fulfilling our mission. While we recognize the value of a wide range of community initiatives, grant applications that most closely align with these Board-approved funding priorities will receive preference during the review process. This approach ensures that our funding supports projects that advance the strategic direction and goals of Coosa Valley RC&D Council. The FY 2026-2028 priorities are as follows:

  • Natural Resource Conservation, Enhancement, & Stewardship Projects
  • Sustainable Economic Development & Community Infrastructure Projects
  • Youth Engagement & Life Skills Development Projects
  • Multi-Organization Partnership Projects
  • Regional Impact (Multi-County) Projects
  • Projects Addressing Emerging Community Needs
  • Workforce Development & Training Projects
